Hi all,
we saw most of you over Easter which was good but if we didn't, we hope your Easter was fun.

Linc has started walking- he takes about 5 steps at a time then falls on his bum which is very cute. I took him to have his first hair cut this morning and he was NOT impressed! He really is turning into a little boy now.

All is well- Dave is enjoying his job and I'm enjoying my holidays.

Nothing else to report at the moment so I'll sign off :)

It's been a year...

Wow, it's been over a year since I was huffing and puffing and little baby Linc popped out. Can you believe it?

We all celebrated Lincoln at his first birthday party which was fun but very hot. Of course he had no idea what was going on and what the fuss was about. He did however, get stuck into Oma's birthday cake and enjoyed a massive sugar hit that went on into the night! He's very well at the moment and almost about to walk....

David's job is going well. The travel is a bit of a drag and was a huge shock to his system at first but he's now used to it and he really likes what he's doing now. Yay!

We're keeping pretty busy but hope to catch up with all of you around Easter.

Dave has a new job!

Hi all,
Dave went for a position with a new company in Glen Iris working as an electrical engineer and he got offered the position yesterday. It will mean longer travel for him (he'll catch trains) but he thinks he'll be much happier at this new place so he's decided to accept the offer. I'm really happy for him!

Linc is doing really well. We had orientation at his child care centre this morning and he loved it which was reassuring. He'll be going on Wednesdays when I get called in to do relief teaching at work. Just over a week until I go back...

Hope you're all well!

Happy 2008!

Hi all, we hope you had a very merry Chrissy and New Year. Our Christmas was pretty busy with family and it was awesome having Lincoln around for the first time.

Dave and I are both on holidays at the moment which is good; Linc is enjoying having both of us around. We've gone to the beach and done some visiting but we've also spent a lot of time at home which has been good after a busy Christmas.

Lincoln is doing really well. He's moving around the house at a rate of knots and his hair is growing fast- it's quite curly.

By the way, Archie is back to his normal weight now and he's healthy again. The pancreas really works!

Hope you're all well.

I like swimming but I'm not so sure about talking Santa toys

This week David got in the pool with Lincoln which was cute to watch. They both had fun as you can see in the pic :)
My parents have a talking Santa toy that they showed to Linc this week and he wasn't too impressed. He was stunned for about 5 minutes and just stared at it without moving a muscle. It was so funny watching his reaction.
We have our first Christmas do tomorrow at Yvonne and Neil's. Kellie, Sandy, Riley and Cooper are coming down because they won't be around at Christmas time. So anyway it will be fun I'm sure!
Not long now until Santa arrives!!!

Lincoln stands alone!

It's been another busy week! Dave and I went to Jim & Teresa's wedding in Hamilton on the weekend which was good (picture of us but I havn't asked Jim if I can put a pic of them up yet, so I haven't). We shared a room with Brendan which was a colourful experience!!!

Lincoln pulled himself up to a proper standing position for the first time today using his play pen! He'll be walking soon I'm sure....He also has tooth number SIX about to come through.

Only 41/2 weeks left of work for me for the year, yay! Bring on Christmas.

Almost December

Hi all,
I can't believe it's almost December already. Christmas this year is going to be so much fun with a baby in the house!

Lincoln is 9 months old and his third tooth has pushed through with number four coming close behind. he started pulling himself up to a standing position on the window sill yesterday afternoon. It's so cute.

David and I are both well. We have Jim and Teresa's wedding in Hamilton on the weekend which will be interesting because it will be the first time Lincoln will sleep the whole night at someone else's house. Grandpa and Oma are excited I'm sure!

Will keep you all posted xx
